Objectives

The Sec 1NT STP is designed specifically for Sec 1 students taking Normal Technical Maths, to support them in the transition to secondary school maths. This programme aims to help students to acquire the concepts, mathematical vocabulary and skills covered in the first semester of the Sec 1 Normal Technical maths syllabus. With concrete experiences and real-life application, the students will be able to relate to abstract mathematical concepts better. This will provide them with the needed groundwork in Secondary 1. In Term 2, the topics of Fractions, Ratio and Percentage will be covered.
